To set default window frames and reveals data and default window blind controls

  1. Click the Defaults Manager icon.

    The Defaults Manager dialog box opens.

  2. Click the Application button.
  3. In the Window frames and reveals panel , set the default window frame projection sizes (inside and outside).

    Set the default inside sill and reveal depths, and the reveal outside projection.

  4. Set the default coefficient factors for thermal conductance, solar and visible absorption, and emissivity for the frames and reveals.

    Set the default values for window and rooflight glass fractions.

  5. In the Window blinds panel , set the default window blind solar control strategy to “closed if room needs cooling”.
  6. Click OK to complete the defaults setup.
